Almost every year Farbrausch members gather for two weeks in denmark to work on their demos. This blog gives you a little peek into how we work.
Present were, in alphabetical order:
aTom - chaos - fiver2 - tron - wayfinder - kb - shana - tobi - yoda
We never intended to make this publicly available, this is just for us. Maybe you find it interesting, maybe it is just incomprehensible. Also some of it is in German :-)
We censored this blog so you don't see unreleased projects.
Most of the stuff is about fr-063: magellan. |

We have a timeline! And half of the scenes are in place. I think we can leave the Elitehaus with a complete Demo, and then we still have two weeks for polishing.

While trying to get some interesting settings for the massballs scene, I stumbled upon some cool settings. I am getting into the zone where i spend most of the time watching the effect instead of actually being productive.

a splash, finally!

this is very ambient. Although it's just two sources with constant velocity and density, the dynamics of the simulation produce endless variations. |

I added an additional vector to the instance data, so that i can have per instance color. I think I will spend the next hour reviewing code, because I had to touch many places to add this. Obviously, I want this optionally...
I wasted lots of time watching and tweaking my ambient effect. I think I can turn this into a hidden part that will loop forever.

| The second big "story" meeting is over and we realigned our visions. The timeline is almost filled, although most scenes need a lot of work. |
